The marketplace built for boats that are also homes.
Liveaboard HQ is a for-sale-by-owner marketplace for cruising boats and liveaboards. You list it yourself, sell direct to buyers, and get a listing as good as the boat deserves.
A listing as good as the boat
When you sell a cruising boat yourself, the listing has always been the weak link: a social post that vanishes by tomorrow, a forum classified nobody can search, a spec sheet that never captures how a boat actually lives. A listing polished enough to do the boat justice used to mean hiring a broker, and paying a large commission. Liveaboard HQ builds you a better one, made specifically for liveaboards, and puts it in your hands to sell direct.
What makes a listing here different
A data model made for liveaboards. Energy, water, communications, ground tackle, refit history, and sail inventory are structured fields, not buried in a paragraph. Buyers can finally compare boats on what actually matters when you live aboard.
Trust built in. Every owner is reviewed before a listing goes live. Refit work is shown as a grid of real receipts, and a full account of recent service and known issues is part of every boat.
Yours to share. Each listing is a page you can send to any group, forum, or friend, and it looks credible wherever it lands. We do not replace the places you already sell. We make your listing the best thing in them.
What Liveaboard HQ is not
Liveaboard HQ is a marketplace, not an auction house and not a classifieds feed that disappears by morning. We do not sell the boat for you and we do not step into your deal. You get the listing, the trust layer, and the tools to share it, then you sell direct. That is the whole product.
The person behind Liveaboard HQ
I built Liveaboard HQ because a boat that is also your home deserves a listing as good as the boat, and owners have never had the tools to make one. A great listing used to mean hiring a broker. I wanted owners to have that quality, or better, in their own hands, and to sell direct, without watching the whole thing sink to the bottom of a group feed by afternoon. A liveaboard is worth more than a spec sheet. It is the systems you upgraded, the passages you made, and a way of living that an ordinary boat listing never captures.
This is the marketplace I wanted to build for that world. It is run by Liveaboard Coaching, doing business as Liveaboard HQ, and it is still early. If something here can be better, I want to hear it.
